Read only file systems on SmartOS Instances

In SmartOS machines there are parts of the file system that is set as read only.

This is created in order to protect the system against compromise and Trojans.

The following directories are read only:



If you have an application that requires files to be replaced in any of the above directorates, you will have to update your path and or configuration of the application to use /opt.
