If you encounter a 'Build failed: No such image' error message when attempting to build an image from a Dockerfile, please try building the image again with the --no-cache command line option.
An example build failure looks like the following:
$ docker build . Sending build context to Docker daemon 2.128 MB Build failed: No such image: 2ddfc477330ac85a7b3635fdc41902a24dea276c7322a226665be011bc50f2be (req_id: 1b9a2f04-0150-459b-b93e-2ec11a945156)
However, using the --no-cache command line option will allow the build to proceed:
$ docker build --no-cache . Sending build context to Docker daemon 2.128 MB Step 1 : FROM phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin ---> a459cca0b0d4 Step 2 : COPY bin /usr/local/bin ---> d2dbba4475ea ... Importing image 0bc7ae1d5426 into IMGAPI Importing image 56c5c7ce3770 into IMGAPI Successfully built 56c5c7ce3770
This is a known issue and we are working on a solution that will allow the build command to execute as expected, without using --no-cache.
